Brittany and Brenden celebrated their love with an evening of lighthearted luxury at Glen Island Harbour Club. From an onsite caricature artist to a Viennese Hour featuring the most decadent display imaginable, we spared no expense to bring their vision to life!

Although they attended high school together, the couple never dated until they connected through LinkedIn when Brittany was in her third year of law school. They met up for a drink to network and realized they enjoyed spending time together. It wasn’t long before they saw each other again, and the rest is history!

A Traditional Ceremony and a Showstopping Bride

The couple’s ceremony was at St. Clare of Assisi in the Bronx—the same church where Brittany’s parents married years before! As they walked down the aisle, Brittany’s bridesmaids looked stunning in floor-length gowns of lavender crepe, while Brenden and his groomsmen also contributed to the cool-toned palette in suits of royal blue. But, of course, the beautiful bride stole the show! In a ballgown with a lace bodice and a layered skirt of ruffled tulle, Brittany looked every bit the glam bride. Likewise, her bouquet from Arcadia Floral Co. drew every eye with an abundance of ivory roses, blush astilbe, and sprigs of cascading greenery.

Cocktail Hour and Reception at Glen Island Harbour Club

In the Glen Island Harbour Club lounge, the couple treated their guests to a cocktail hour with waterfront views and fresh seafood hors d'oeuvres. Meanwhile, NYC’s famed Highline Quartet provided entertainment! Then, all proceeded to the ballroom, where long tables spread with plated appetizers and bottles of wine awaited. Candlelight filled the room with a soft glow, while elevated centerpieces of ivory florals added lush dimension to the tablescapes.

Caricatures by Carol provided entertainment throughout the evening, as did Burke's Booths. However, the undisputable highlight was the Viennese Hour catered by the pastry chefs at Glen Island Harbour Club! Row upon row of colorful pastries, tarts, and puddings, along with two chocolate fountains and an array of multi-layer cakes, satisfied guests’ sweet tooth and fueled the dancers until late into the night.
