Shivani and Kunal’s Indian Wedding was two days of colorful bliss. Their love for colors, nature, dance, family, community, and life came through in every aspect of their wedding.
The two day event started with a Sangeet which encompassed bright colors, food trucks, and multiple dance numbers from family and friends. What captivated me the most was Shivani’s incredible dancing skills and her fabulous voice.
The second day commenced with the Baraat where walking patrons got the opportunity to enjoy lively dancing and drumming all around Portland Art Museums park. The event was so enchanting that guests from the brides side joined in. Kunal arrived at the Hilton Hotel on a white horse, while his future wife got a moment to sneak a peek of the celebration from a nearby window.
The ceremony was inspired by a Garden of Eden theme. To witness their specific Indian traditions carried out was incredibly beautiful.
The reception, a Starry Night, completed the events. Guests enjoyed dining on traditional Indian cuisine and sweets while dancing the night away.
This was Danielle Caldwell Events first Indian Wedding, and according to the couple, it was a complete success. Learning the culture and being trusted with such a special occasion was not only a gift, but an honor.
